The project is a sales and distribution outlet for cattle and sheep feed, located on a main road in one of the villages of Masyaf rural area. The business relies on purchasing feed from supplying mills and distributing it locally to livestock breeders at a small profit margin. The owner has already secured the sales location and needs support to purchase the initial stock to start selling.

Expected Impact

Expected Outcomes

  • Meet a local need: the area lacks competing outlets in this sector, making the project an essential service for farmers and livestock breeders
  • Provide a main source of income for several individuals and support their families
  • Support the agriculture and livestock sector in the region

Sustainability

The project has good sustainability prospects due to local demand for feed and an agreement with the supplier to replace damaged or expired goods. It can be developed later by purchasing a small grinding machine to produce additional feed materials.

Owner Story

Behind this project is a determined young man, married and responsible for supporting his wife and elderly parents, while also helping his widowed sister's family of four children. After losing his previous job and being displaced from his home in Aleppo, he returned to his village to start anew. Despite currently relying on odd jobs and limited farming, he decided to invest his experience in livestock raising to launch this project.
